One way to test it, is to find a new/semi new mother board, of the same model type as the old mother board, and see if the CPU fits. That, or the CPU itself is damaged? Find a new CPU of same model and compare to see if it is damaged in anyway that would render the re-install impossible. |

Both the CPU and the motherboard were cold had been sitting on a shelf for a week. Also the CPU came out of the socket just as easy as they always do after unlocking it. This is a true story "Glitches in the Matrix" have occurred frequently in my life. They make your paradigm shift, which, I suspect, is their purpose. For those (like myself) who consider themselves rational, logical (left brainers), It can be a life changing event. Follow the rabbit and a whole new world view can open for you.
