I believe it has changed. The question now is when did it change? There is an article that says sex in the city written in 2000 I think? So I would say that one changed just prior to the article being written while the show was still on tv. Obviously the writer of the article remembered the original name unaware the name had been shifted. I bet it happened and viewers didn't notice the change consciously but sub consciously noticed. People who didn't watch the show remember it from when they saw the title on the first season, turned to it and said" this is crap". Never looked at it again
