Yogi Berra And yes, Yogi Berra was the inspiration for the cartoon "Yogi Bear" or so legend has it. In fact the real Yogi sued the producers of the cartoon Hanna-Barbara for defamation and then withdrew the suit later. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70391795 Won ten world series championships with the NY Yankees... Ok, so just a sportsman for the sheeple to idolise. Was hoping he was something a little more special. Ok Mussolini, thanks for your input. And for your information, Yogi Berra was born of Italian immigrants from Malvaglio near Milan in northern Italy. The average life expectancy of a NON SMOKING man is only 78 or 76 depending on whose statistics you listen to. There seems to be some questions about whether or not cigarette smoking is actually as bad a health risk as claimed. Japan has the highest rate of adult smokers and the lowest incidence of lung cancer. Researchers discovered long ago that cigarette smoking was never dangerous until the nuclear testing in the west contaminated the crops. It is known for a 100% certainty the lung cancer as it is related to smoking is caused by radioactive elements and not tobacco itself. Smokers who smoked during the testing are the ones most effected, and since the testing was banned there isn't a measurable difference between the incidence of lung cancer in smokers versus non smokers. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70391795 Besides being a truly outstanding catcher who could hit, he was loads of fun to be around. Reporters loved him because he often had something interesting to say. Yes, I did cure my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks when I was 48. I also reversed my chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) when I was 25. In neither case were any medical treatments involved. |
