Meanwhile, the Pope travels around the world lecturing foreign governments to fleece average citizens of their hard-earned money. To put it bluntly, the Pope can just STFU!!!

Bankers' best guesses about the Vatican's wealth put it at $10 billion to $15 billion. Of this wealth, Italian stockholdings alone run to $1.6 billion, 15% of the value of listed shares on the Italian market. The Vatican has big investments in banking, insurance, chemicals, steel, construction, real estate. Dividends help pay for Vatican expenses and charities such as assisting 1,500,000 children and providing some measure of food and clothing to 7,000,000 needy Italians. Unlike ordinary stockholders, the Vatican pays no taxes on this income, which led the leftist Rome weekly L'Espresso last week to call it "the biggest tax evader in Italy."

The vatican is not part of italy, it is actually its own country with its own swiss army and laws. Why would the church pay taxes to itself, that would make no sense. Also the wealth is way more than 15 billion. They have artifacts hidden away from the last 2000 years and their is catholic churches in every country in the world paying tribute.

Not a lot of money considering that they won't ever sell the works of art. Also, the Vatican bank has been broached and that is the main thing that Francis has been tasked to do, figure out where the Vatican bank money went.

Always wonder if that's the reason that Rat zinger suddenly "retired" and is off somewhere at some summer place in sort of exile. And Francis can't figure out where the money went.

The Jehovah Witness org is worth over 8 BILLION.

Interesting they have half the wealth of the oldest Christian church yet are less than 200 years old.

Look into their money scams.

Through Unam Sanctam the Catholic church has assumed all wealth, all possessions, all land ... all material things. The Catholic church defines wealth. (Since 1302)

The entire world debt it owed to the Vatican ... not Jupiter or the Sun.

The taxes the vatican pays are irrelevant. It is the money creator ... It will create the money to pay taxes just as it created the system of modern taxation / currancy / law / governments and boarders.

yes, that is the generally accepted theory why Rat Zinger retired. BC the money scandel was so big and he was too old to take it on.

However, with Jesuit Francis at the helm I'm sure he is just a cover for the insiders who are really in control of things.

Very sad that any church gets taken over by Luciferians than reflects poorly on the true follows of peace.

It is time for eh Vatican to pay its fair share just like every religious place and type. That way they are not controlled by government and can keep their beliefs without any interference like forced bathroom policies that violate beliefs.

No taxes for 1000 years?
with interest bearing account?

$1,000 at 1% a year for 1000 years = $20,959,155
$10,000 at 1% a year for 1000 years = $209,581,556
$100,000 at 1% a year for 1000 years = $2,095,815,563
