Anonymous Coward User ID: 70379588 United States 09/25/2015 06:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 89-92% of all abortions occur in the first trimester. Of those, the reasons for which I feel abortion is acceptable: Physical problem with my health - 12% reported Was a victim of rape 1% reported Became pregnant as a result of incest <0.5% reported Absolutely unacceptable: Parents want me to have an abortion 6% reported Husband or partner wants me to have an abortion 14% reported Everything else is debatable, imo. Could the numbers be lower? Yes. Should they be lower? Of course. Could it be a whole lot worse? You bet. But it is clear that abortion, done early and for the right reason, should remain a safe, legal option...and considering the number of abortions have actually declined in the last decade, I'd hardly call it an epidemic at this point. |

That is an incorrect assumption. I blame it on the sexualization of society. Whenever you watch TV, read a magazine, look at Instagram, YouTube, etc all you see is ass and tits. Girls are developing younger and boys are bombarded with these images since birth. You see sexual innuendos in commercials, hear it in music and it's disgusting. Trust me, I am far from a prude, but when people are constantly bombarded with "sex is good and it will make you popular" easily influenced teens and young adults have no issues doing it. My 16yo son was telling me just yesterday that all of the popular girls at his school are "whores". I asked what that meant and he said they "blow anyone they date and have sex with the ones they date longer". I was shocked to learn the girls I thought were the innocent ones were the very ones he was referring to. I told him to not get caught up in the madness because eventually all of those kids are going to have a STD or worse. I just hope he doesn't have sex with any of them. I had to bite my tongue not to tell him just let them give him a blow job. At least I wouldn't have to deal with a baby. |

You can see it with these tight black exercise pants every young women in America wears now. Miley or Taylor must have sported these in a music video and now every female has to have them on, even the large, cellulite having ladies. |
