Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 70374219 United States 09/27/2015 02:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is more to this: The Simpson's episode aired in 2000. What other presidential candidate has ever made an entrance coming down an escalator? The Trump character in the Simpson's episode is wearing a red tie and a blue suit, which is identical to what Trump actually wore in the photographs taken on that day. If you watch the entire Simpson's episode, they show that Trump argues against the control that China's trade has over the U.S. as well. So, isn't that a strange coincidence that Trump is currently running on this platform that China has too much control over the U.S. by way of their trade agreements? Here is more imagery to compare from that same episode.... IMAGE ( [link to i.imgur.com] ) What I am trying to reveal here is that the Simpson's have been known to predict future events (9/11 for instance), and having this imagery of Trump as the running presidential candidate should therefore raise some eyebrows. In the Simpson's episode, by the way, Trump does become president. However, he ends up further running the U.S. into the ground by way of going opposite of what he promised in his campaign with regard to trade and financial investments with China. |

I voted for Trump in 2000 User ID: 32957421 United States 02/23/2016 04:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Edit above post there was a trump episode...but did my research the short video or image shown here wasnt from a 2000 episode this was made actually after trump in reality did go down this escalator hence the ironic close comparisons...this video is a short skit made recently Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70431469 yes not to mention Trump was talked about and asked about running for President many times before 2000 and then he wanted the Reform Party nomination in 2000 which he lost to Pat Buchanan. Trump enters race Supporters of the Jesse Ventura faction began encouraging Donald Trump to enter the race, likely as a placeholder for Ventura, who said he would not consider a presidential bid until after his term as governor ended. On October 25, 1999 Trump joined the Reform Party.[8][9] and for a brief time he seemed to be a credible alternative to Buchanan. His pre-campaign gained a great deal of media attention. It seemed as though the primaries would amount to a showdown between Buchanan and Trump, the latter of whom remained confident he could win not only the primary, but also the general election. Trump told reporters: "It's not so much the Reform Party, it's really the fact that I'd want to make that if I ran and spent a lot of money I could actually win, I could beat that Democrat-Republican apparatus."[10] On October 19, 1999 Donald Trump announced he would file to appear on the California primary ballot.[11] During the California primary, he received 15,311 votes.[12] Trump ultimately withdrew his candidacy. During an appearance on The Today Show, he stated: "The Reform Party is a total mess! You have Buchanan, a right winger, and you have Fulani, a Communist, and they have merged.... I don't know what you have!"[13] |
