They should be encouraged to remain in their native lands. They should be taught the ecological concept of Carrying Capacity. The land can only support so many "grazers" at one time. They should be shown the resource opportunities of their native land and how to responsibly harness them. Skills should be cultivated. Welfare programs have been abused so that the concept of Carrying Capacity can be ignored. This will end in disaster when the productive class turn off the spigot and go on tax revolt. ZING! There were black skinned natives in Europe for a long time. The aboriginal peoples of Alaska and several other northern climes are dark-skinned and only lightened with mixing with Europeans. Blacks inhabit all continents and have for a long time. White skin is not the result of low sunlight levels. As to the last article, I read somewhere that the fish have high levels of vit D if they get a lot of sunlight in their water. And plants have high levels of vit D when they are grown in full sun. Leafy greens like kale can absorb a lot of vit D and people absorb it when they eat it. That's why mom always said "Eat your greens". And the less processed they are, the more vit D they retain. |
