The futures never match up with the end of the dow close. It may have to do with after hours trading. I'm thinking the NASDAQ may actually be down over 400 points because it had dropped this much in after hours trading before the futures market had opened. |

Why list a different indices if the known numbers are based on something else. Pointless. The NASDAQ-100 is frequently confused with the Nasdaq Composite Index; the latter index (often referred to simply as "The Nasdaq") includes the stock of every company that is listed on NASDAQ (more than 3,000 altogether) and is quoted more frequently than the NASDAQ-100 in popular media.
