Kiwi troops could be pulled into Syria

Kiwi boots could be on the ground in Syria if the UN Security Council gives a mission the go-ahead, a Waikato law expert says.

Several Western powers seemed to have softened on working with the Syrian president, professor Al Gillespie said, and that could pave the way to UN-approved action.
