Ex-Chairman Genzler wouldn't prosecute if he saw metals market manipulation by banks with his own eyes - not unusual for an ex-Goldman Sachs guy. I see in Massad's bio that he helped write the original swaps contract and that he helped businesses hedge exposures in the derivatives market. Sounds like a guy who is cozy with the boys at the big banks. |

In fact, ever since Germany's Bafin launched a probe into Deutsche Bank for gold and silver manipulation, it has been very clear that the only question is how many banks will end up paying billions to settle the rigging of the gold market (with nobody going to prison as usual, of course). Quoting: NowServingNumber52 And that's the problem. Time & time again, the guilty parties will have to pay a pittance to their master for cheating. Not even a slap on the wrist, just a wink and a nudge. And they go right back to robbing the cookie jar. :doom360: |
