Is there a country USA has not been at war with? Anybody challenging U.S. hegemony is their enemy, stupid as they are.

What I am talking about is that the US will not interfere with Russia taking the lead in the Syrian conflict from this point on. This is because Russia is being given stature on the world's stage to take control of global policing action.

It is an appearance of conflict between Russia and the US. The appearance of contention between Assad/Anti-Assad is truly a minor thing as things go. Russian leadership in this regard will provide elevation of standing in competence.

I think the difference is Ukraine was a proxy war, this is Russian troops versus American troops. Putin's comments on Ukraine at the UN should terrify the American military.

I think Russia will win the Ukrainian front and take all of Ukraine and perhaps roll into Polish territory to send a message, but they will lose to ISIS in Syria. The only question is whether the conflict spill over onto US soil and go nuclear.

I do not wish I were Russian. Passive aggressive nature of response belies a lack of response.
