I'm sure we could make some stuff up

People "make some stuff up" all the time... I think, that many people need this, because the belief, that their shitty lifes will end at this or that point, gives them some kind of hope, which is why, doom is mostly around the corner and not in 2025 or 2034.

sure, makes sense, just like how the enemy is always " that person over there " instead of one's own self, thus the enemy can never be defeated

Life is way more comfortable, when you blame others...

Yeah, I call it vicarious self-loathing { hating the self by hating others }

It allows people to endlessly perpetuate violence, hatred, wars, etc, because they never are able to " defeat the enemy ", thus the real responsibility never falls where it should

I find that really crazy though, because most people will readily admit they are their own worst enemy

...yet ...they won't admit it any other time under any other context
