My favorite :) :favedonut: Not East Coast but . . . there is the sweetest older couple - they set up a tent and make powdered and cinnamon sugar coated mini donuts every weekend - on the road to Pecos in the Santa Fe National Forest. A dozen for $3 - they melt in your mouth! |

Melt in your mouth perfection. Best donuts ever! Though there's a great little bakery in Algodonnes Mexico that's a close second. Happy Donuts!! Some Shepherds remain hidden from their sheep. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 70395662 United States 10/04/2015 10:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The best donuts on the east coast are Krumpe's donuts in Hagerstown, Maryland. Quoting: Unsinkable Sam These donuts are actually so good that once I got pulled over for speeding and I had a few of Krumpe's donuts leftover in the passenger seat. The cop came up to the window and when he realized that I had Krumpe's donuts in my vehicle, he let me off with a verbal warning. Sometimes you go to Krumpe's, and there is literally a line out the door. The only other donut shop that comes close to them is Maple Donuts of Central PA. Krispy Kream when the HOT light is on, end of discussion. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44863486 I dont get it, you all want diabetes or something? I would much rather eat a small portion of real 70-80% cacao chocolate. Much more satisfying than a dangerous sugar high. Listen to this schmuck. |

You used to be able to get a devils food cake donut cut in half with peanut butter icing in the center, topped with more peanut butter and chocolate icing. Enough energy in one of those to run a small city for an hour. |
