I want to have abs first time in my life, I want to get bigger muscles.. no will power though Oh man, am I really that big quitter? How can I change it? I'm not satisfied with my body, I'm just before my 30s and I want to hit a gym and build great body. Why? Because I want to be healthy, I want to look good, my girlfriend looks like freaking supermodel and I'm just a teddy bear. I've never had great body, I'm not fat or something, maybe a little over weight but nothing to worry about. I'm strong but I don't have big muscles. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 51627600 I have no will power to train. I always come up with excuse like 'I have work, I need to go with my friend for a beer' etc. I tried P90X in home, I lasted 10 days!! 10 days and my body was like 3 times better. But then it was weekend, beers and I quited. What can I do to succeed? To have bigger will power to achieve my goal? Any thoughts? Just start doing meth. You'll have abs in no time, Chubs! |

Hanging with other out of shape people that only want to drink beer and party rather than work out or be active doesnt help you goal.good luck! |

I want to have abs first time in my life, I want to get bigger muscles.. no will power though The difference between a flabby loser and a champion is will power. Either you have it or you don't. Will power is a reflection of your aptitude. The power of your brain to seize control of your reality. You are a weakling if you are incapable of effecting real change. Eventually your girl will copulate with a man like me. Nature favors the strong. Just bow down and accept it. Maybe I'll pay you to take care of my lawn maintenance. |

I want to have abs first time in my life, I want to get bigger muscles.. no will power though Skip the P90X and anything that comes with a book or a video or a catch phrase. Keep it simple. Eat a lot of high protein meals, cut down on carbohydrates. Chicken and Broccoli, egg whites, protein shakes, low-fat cottage cheese, nuts. Get a juicer if you don't like vegetables - juice up carrots and celery and apple. Go to an actual gym. Four times per week, for one hour each time. Make this the most important part of your week. Be prepared to spend months getting in shape. Lose 1-2 pounds per week while gaining muscle. Imagine yourself exchanging a pound of fat for a pound of muscle every week. Weigh yourself once per week at most. Don't step on the scale daily. Always do your weigh-in at the same exact time (preferably just after waking up) on the same interval (weekly, or every 10 days). Learn from the people who are at the gym, a lot of them will take the time to teach you a few things you can do each day. You'll make friends and have others to push you along. Alternate upper body/lower body each time, and do 8 different exercises each visit. Day 1 - 5 upper, 3 lower. Day 2 - 5 lower, 3 upper. Etc. On off-days, take a quick walk around the block a few times for cardio. Do this and you'll gain muscle, lose weight, and feel healthy. It will become part of your daily regimen, and you'll feel like you're missing out if you skip a day. And one day per week, eat what you want. Don't go too overboard, but if you know Saturday is an off-day, don't be afraid to enjoy the things you missed on the other 6 days of the week. It will keep you sane. I did this and went from 220 to 165 in 12 months, and was in the best shape of my life as a result. And I'm a lazy ass. But once you get into a routine, you'll start to miss it if you skip a day. |

There are, however, strict rules on the proportion between the three main food components, protein, fat and carbohydrates, which need to be followed (with few exceptions) in order to achieve claimed benefits of the Optimal Diet. The ideal proportion between the main food components of protein, fat and carbohydrates should be in the range of: m m 1 : 2.5 - 3.5 : 0.5 [link to www.homodiet.co.za] |
