Over half of the movie shows how the exploding of the nuclear weapons is just the start of horror. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34349275 Most people will die in the 10 years following the nuclear war. [link to vimeo.com (secure)] The second is the tv movie classic The Day After, which still holds the record for the most watched tv movie , over 110 million watched this movie the first time it was shown. Almost half of this movie shows what happens in the first few months after the nuclear war. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] I hope to God these movies stay works of fiction! |

I remember those days, the cold war, waiting for the mushroom cloud on the horizon. Scary times. Today, we're more likely to ge killed by our own cops, our "food" & water, or vaccinations. Either way we're all dead in ten years. Once they perfect robot replacement labor, the bulk of the human population will be obliterated like the horse when the automobile arrived. A few humans will be kept around to abuse or used as sex slaves, organ donors or whatnot, but rest assured our days are numbered. |

Or, it could be like "Elysium" or "Blade Runner" where the poor slave away on the toxic shithole that the Earth has become, while the elite live in luxury off-planet. |
