Pretty damn disgusting some of the comments here. Liberal or conservative people make choices about what direction they wish to live their lives by. I agree that foisting one's choice on another is wrong, especially about these invaders, but nothing deserves gang rape. I would suggest that if you disagree, put the thought of your mother, wife, sister, or daughter into the storyline and honestly examine if you feel differently. Because this woman is someone's mother, or child, or sister.

The reason for it is that many of you commenting have divorced yourselves from all ability to look at other people as individuals. To you, everyone is part of a group, and thus they must embody all the traits of that group.

The raw fact is that a human being was attacked and had violence done upon her by other human beings. It matters not one bit whether she was what you label "liberal" or "conservative" or even that she was female and her attackers male.

All that truly matters is that one individual was made to suffer by other individuals. That, and that alone, deserves pity. Nothing more is required or necessary for a truly decent human being to be saddened by this event. Only those who have divorced their minds from their essential humanity see it any other way.
