 Quoting: dschis1000
The origin of the Jews was from Damascus, a most famous city of Syria, whence also the Assyrian kings and queen Semiramis5 sprung. The name of the city was given it from King Damascus, in honour of whom the Syrians consecrated the sepulchre of his wife Arathis as a temple, and regard her as a goddess worthy of the most sacred worship After Damascus, Azelus, and then Adores, Abraham, and Israhel were their kings. But a prosperous family of ten sons made Israhel more famous than any of his ancestors. Having divided, his kingdom, in consequence, into ten governments, he committed them to his sons, and called the whole people Jews from Judas, who died soon after the division, and ordered his memory to be held in veneration by them all, as his portion was shared among them. The youngest of the brothers was Joseph, whom the others, fearing his extraordinary abilities, secretly made prisoner, and sold to some foreign merchants. Being carried by them into Egypt, and having there, by his great powers of mind, made himself master of the arts of magic, he found in a short time great favour with the king; for he was eminently skilled in prodigies, and was the first to establish the science of interpreting dreams; and nothing, indeed, of divine or human law seems to have been unknown to him; so that he foretold a dearth in the land some years before it happened, and all Egypt would have perished by famine, had not the king, by his advice, ordered the corn to be laid up for several years; such being the proofs of his knowledge, that his admonitions seemed to proceed, not from a mortal, but a god. His son was Moses, whom, besides the inheritance of his father’s knowledge, the comeliness of his person also recommended. But the Egyptians, being troubled with scabies and leprosy, and moved by some oracular prediction, expelled him, with those who had the disease, out of Egypt, that the distemper might not spread among a greater number. Becoming leader, accordingly, of the exiles, he carried off by stealth the sacred utensils of the Egyptians, who, endeavouring to recover them by force of arms, were obliged by tempests to return home; and Moses, having reached Damascus, the birth-place of his forefathers, took possession of mount Sinai, on his arrival at which, after having suffered, together with his followers, from a seven days’ fast in the deserts of Arabia, he consecrated every seventh day (according to the present custom of the nation) for a fast-day, and to be perpetually called a sabbath, because that day had ended at once their hunger and their wanderings. And as they remembered that they had been driven from Egypt for fear of spreading infection, they took care, in order that they might not become odious, from the same cause, to the inhabitants of the country, to have no communication with strangers; a rule which, from having been adopted on that particular occasion, gradually became a custom and part of their religion. After the death of Moses, his son Aruas6 was made priest for celebrating the rites which they brought from Egypt, and soon after created king; and ever afterwards it was a custom among the Jews to have the same chiefs both for kings and priests; and, by uniting religion with the administration of justice, it is almost incredible how powerful they became.

I remember something about it, can't find it.

I DID find this:

Thread: Saudi King 'Abdullah' Rumored Dead: Confirmations within days. [Nov 9, 2013] Al-MAHDI NEARS!

It talked about Abdullah's successor only being in power a short while (less than a year, I think it said?) was ineffective....the whole family was infighting over who would follow Abdullah, and didn't want the guy who he appointed....I can't remember details of it. Still looking for it.

Re: *BREAKING* Saudi King Hospitalized for Dementia
It never ceases to amaze me, they have a kingdom with big money for any necessity, still they want to go to a US hospital for treatment. Can't they build a hospital to fill medical needs? I mean, his brother had islands, but no local hospital? Why? Is it some political security level, if the US hospital fails they can sue them but if it's homebrew they can't? I don't get it.

Re: *BREAKING* Saudi King Hospitalized for Dementia
Is dementia also known as crazy
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68606831

No. He has alzheimers. It's not crazy. Short memory, lots of amnesia about what happened 10 minutes ago.

The anonymous coward mystery babylon 13 that are complaining about kingship, well, you got some end of the world prophecies of Apostle John to read. Horns of the beast/dragon/whatever; if Salman is the king that rules for a little while, now we know why it's a little while.

Revelation 17:12 “...The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. 13 They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

15 Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. 16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire....

What is particular about this detail of writing is that they will fight the Lamb, and then they will bring (mystery babylon) to ruin.

When you figure the big mecca place, mystery babylon could be that stone. That female form stone, with a big cosmic taco that the men get to in the middle. Even the design of the big place is criticized by the followers; for example, they complain that the birthplace of their leader is built over with a women's bathroom, that suggests they would welcome a remodel of that big place. Eat her flesh and burn her with fire even? Hm. No idea what that is about. I have a clue but I don't want to say something that would get me security haunted.

I think bigger the perspective is that in time, in spirit, John the Apostle was able to be shown that place, so some days I wish to see in some sort of eccentricity, the angel and John's spirit looking at the place. It could happen.
