OP of threads can block you from posting on their thread if they're an upgraded member...

As an upgraded member, you can also ban people from your threads. These options are found on the bottom left of each post.

Also -- MODS can "lock" a thread so that further replies are not allowed.

It's called a "locked thread"

That's the one. Usually though, you're told if you've been banned when you try to respond. I have never seen one that says "replies blocked"
