Something Strange About Howard Stern

So I enjoy listening to him on my way to work and he usually has some common sense things to say. But recently I have been troubled by something.

Last week as Robin commented on the news, she mentioned the green beret that beat up the afghani official that was raping a little boy. And how he was punished by being kicked out of the army. Howard's response to this? Silence. He went on to the next topic like nothing.

A few days after that, a caller on the show was discussing Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani splitting up, everyone was having a good time and joking. The caller then said he wanted to ask a question concerning the story about the Green Beret and the raping of the boy, Howard right away became angry and cut him off and yelled, "GET TO THE POINT, WHO CARES?!"

He then hung up on the caller. I find this incredibly odd given the fact that Howard will always go on a tirade and defend gays and men who want to be called women, but has nothing to say about the army discharging someone for defending a child being raped. No anger, no emotion, not even worthy of discussion.

I guess it's not just the gays and transgenders that are ok in his book.
