It's still worth doing. (No I'm not fishing for personal info.) "Be polite, be professional, be prepared to kill everyone you meet." What keeps you awake at night? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42898187 The problem is, NATO and the US have said that 'we' will investigate it. This happened quite a bit during Vietnam, and nothing ever came of it. There is an investigative body formed by the Geneva Conventions that is specifically supposed to be utilized in situations like this.. They have NEVER been called to do anything. Doctors without Borders is requesting an investigation from this body, but it requires the US and Afghanistan to agree to it (weird, isn't it?) Without pressure from the public, it will never happen. Thanks for the support!! IHFFC.org From the website (less than 50%) "Violations of the law applicable in armed conflict occur, alas, in many conflicts throughout the world. Yet, the international community has never accepted this as a fact which cannot be changed. It has designed a number of institutions and procedures for ensuring the respect for, and faithful implementation of, international humanitarian law. The International Humanitarian Fact-finding Commission is one of these institutions. The idea behind its creation is that ascertaining controversial facts where there are mutual allegations and denials of violations constitutes a useful, even necessary tool for re-establishing respect for international humanitarian law." I know for a fact that the main casualties of war are the local population that has nothing to do with who's fighting. It surely isn't because we flooded Syria with ISIS in order to oust Assad. Maybe it is OUR FUCKING POLICIES that keeps on causing our problems. I'm picking this fight at the moment.
