Anyone ever ask the question: "Can consciousness survive biological death?"

Wonder if after death, you are just aware, "consciousness" floating around alone, in the blackness of nothing, until you are reborn or chosen for rebirth? Like when you lay awake at night and think of things - you are there forever...

You won't even be able to think "where am I?", because there will be absolutely no concept of "I". Without a body to ground you, there is no self and you are one with the Universe...

Nothing in this article suggests consciousness exists for any large amount of time after your heart and lungs stop functioning. Just that it doesn't immediately die off when you stop breathing or pumping blood.

Dreaming is essentially your consciousness "outside" of your physical self.. interacting in other realms. Your brain cannot construct these 3d realities that are produced in the "dream state". When you're viewing something, your consciousness is extending out to that which you are viewing, thus the reason people often can tell when someone is staring at them.

It would be alone...with out particle universes.
