Anonymous Coward User ID: 20589235 United States 10/19/2015 12:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have seen some very dangerous Drone Flying. Multiple times now. Large personal drones flying low over large crowds ... which is already ILLEGAL ... is what I have seen. If a drone crashes during one of those already ILLEGAL flights people WILL BE HURT, so it is becoming necessary to be able to track backwards to find out who owned that drone that crashed so as to be able to assign liability. (I have witnessed tow drone crashes so far, not into people thank goodness, so I know for a fact that even those larger personal drones DO CRASH ... apparently regularly) If people were responsible then it would NOT be necessary, but there are irresponsible ass holes in every endeavor, and the irresponsible types ARE going to run when their drone crashes and hurts people. Those types will NOT be willing to accept the financial responsibility that comes with having hurt totally innocent people. Registration is GOOD imo, just has having a valid driver's license for driving a vehicle is GOOD also. |
