The people in the twin towers weren't safe, the firemen who were killed trying to save them, the cleanup people who developed lung problems and disease from the rubble, the reservists and national guard military whose lives, families and communities were disrupted when they were called up to go fight in Iraq, the children left without a parent, the list goes on. I'm glad Donald Trump has brought this up. The mess in the Middle East and the refugee problem overwhelming Europe now is a direct result of the Bush and Obama administrations.
