Natural animals (humans included) will never be good. It is the light inside us (awareness) that serves our focus on others. It is up to the individual to grow his own awareness and come to the light.

Buddhism, while not a religion in the western sense, supports the idea that buddha nature is at the core of all humans, nestled within is the seed perfection.
