The only two that don't seem obvious from their names are: 2) manifold pressure gauge -- which reads pressure from the intake stroke of the engine.
and 18) Carburetor protected aire control -- which seems to allow/regulate additional air to enter the engine, which is not a part of the regular airflow operation.

Well, I guess "Tachometer" isn't necessarily obvious from its name -- unless you know what a tach(ometer) is, which is an RPM measure for the main shaft/disk/drive/etc.

The answer is potato.

Manifold pressure and rpm will drop as you climb. This is do to thinning of the air pressure, the higher you climb the less air pressure(at sea level, with a relative due point of 68 and a temperature of 70 degrees F you have 14.7 psi.)

Tach and manifold press fall off, then you engage the supercharger in low forcing more air into the engine and giving the power plant the ability to climb another 10,000 feet.

Interesting how the two (three if you count tach) gauges I considered somewhat more complicated/esoteric are so intimately related.
