Verizon Begins CENSORING Customer e-mails

This is bullshit. I pay Verizon a lot of money every month for phone, tv and internet. I do not pay them to interfere with my communications to my own family or to my business colleagues.

Are you really using Verizon email services? That's stupid on so many levels.

Never EVER EVER use an email service from a company you have to pay to access. What happens if you use Verizon email and you switch providers? Bye bye email, that's what happens. Sure you might not care at first but you'll lose your contacts and have to tell everyone your new email address.

People are soooo scared about their email. Well, if you are using anything other than an encrypted or iCloud account you can forget about anything. Comcast, Charter, Brighthouse, Time Warner, ATT, Verizon, Sprint, EVERYONE like that is required by law to keep everything you do on record for a minimum of 18 months for government access if needed.

Look, I get it, I understand the desires and needs for secure and private email. It is important for various reasons. But you can hands down bet your ass that if you're using someone elses email, THEY HAVE ACCESS TO IT, period.

If you are concerned about email privacy and whatever and you're not using your own email server in your own home then you are doing it wrong.

Bottom line, unless you have an email server in your home that's managed by yourself you have zero argument about privacy and security.

What I mean is you can jump up and down and bitch and moan and whine and complain all you want, you are still on SOMEONE ELSES system. You live by their rules and as long as you continue to use it you are actually reinforcing their behavior.

You can find out how to set up an email server using an old POS computer online.

Verizon has begun censoring emails SENT by customers; ANY email containing ANY hyperlink, is auto-rejected as "SPAM" even if it is related to your business dealings or research!
