Quoting: ~Blue Spirit~ An orange ball thing in the sky, for a few secs, then it just vanishes?! I was in my kitchen at the time, then just caught a glimpse of some orange ball thing as I looked through my window, it stayed for a few seconds, then just vanishes, really odd as this is the second time this has happened to me now... Does anyone in northern UK know what this is?... ive been seeing this from time to time Last Edited by Daniel of the Rose on 11/03/2015 07:22 PM |

Sometimes it pokes through. Quoting: Dr.Hill Ok... Maybe you didn't read my posts @ when this happened?!... Here it is again for you>>>> 11:58 pm... Now... There is no sun from where I'm sitting, poking through any clouds... The sun doesn't just go 'poof!' in the midnight sky on a random, nearly, early Wednesday morning does it?! |

They appear out of nowhere and look like a star at first. They expand in size and implode. They all have the same color. It's a perfect orange color. I haven't seen one in several years. |

Do you know what they are though? |

It's a perfect orange color. I haven't seen one in several years. I used to see these quite often. The first time I saw them, I thought I was seeing car headlights coming down the mountain. The last time I saw them, I was in the car with my husband and grown daughter. All three of us saw them. A week or so later, there was an article in the paper about "flares" being dropped at an old military base in the NW part of the state. What we saw was NOT flares. |

Do you know what they are though? I don't know. It could be some type of atmospheric phenomenon. I saw one directly overhead one night and there was no trace after it imploded. Some of them seem to be at low altitude. I saw a couple of them move and change direction. Looked like it was treetop level. |

It was as if it was so close to me when I was looking at it... Yet I knew it was far away... Well higher up, if you know what I mean... Thanks for the reply... Il still keep searching what it is... I've only seen it twice here but it's just too weird already lol... |
