Judge demands proof that Steve Irwin is dead

She's dedicated some emotional routines to her beloved late father on Dancing With The Stars.

But despite Bindi Irwin's dad Steve passing away in 2006, a new report from TMZ claims a court judge is demanding proof that the 'Crocodile Hunter' is dead, before his 17-year-old daughter can claim her pay from the dance show.

TMZ claimed on Thursday that Bindi will not be able to claim her pay for Dancing With The Stars, which is reported to be at least $230,000, until the judge gets proof her late father, who died in 2006, will give up the rights to the money.

Bindi's mother Terri signed a form stating she gives up all rights to any money her daughter will earn from the hit show, but TMZ claim the judge also asked for the same release from Bindi's dad.
