It would seem that whoever said that all politicians are hopeless liars was totally accurate. I cannot believe he would be stupid enough to lie about something so easily checked by fact checkers - who are going to dig into his past with a fine toothed comb if he’s running for an office above that of Dog Catcher.

As for a Medical License: I know several guys with serious money who cheated their way thru most of med school. They even sent others to take their boards! Most of these guys are smart enough to live off of their trust funds and they do not attempt to practice medicine - or do so minimally. But to go for a speciality such as brain surgery, become certified, and then be lousy at it - it’s almost unimaginable that he would have made it thru his residency program (which you cannot cheat your way thru because the mentoring teaching docs are seeing you on a daily basis. Unless he found someone else to attend classes and work rotations in lieu of him doing it, for three years? It’s probably vaguely possible, but would be difficult as hell.
