I am watching hard damned work slowly kill 2 men I love dearly daily. ):

I've worked full time since I was 14 and I just turned 51.

My kids are grown adults doing well, and I have more than enough to retire on, but I don't want to.

Life is what YOU make of it, believe it or not.

I look everywhere now and see way too many lazy ass whiny young people who either don't want to work, or want to work as unskilled labor while demanding higher wages.

But, its all good now, the final fix is in anyway...

We work jobs we hate to buy shit we don't need.

One is 58 the other 66. They work till they cannot take steps without help or canes daily. So tough to watch and u cannot stop them.

So in other words because you fell for the sham that working hard gets you somewhere and other people see work as slavery, you feel the need to lash out against those that were raised differently from you so your ego doesn't get hurt?

There are also people, such as myself, that are considered to be skilled labor, and make a lot of money, but it comes with hard work that makes the end of the day come slowly. I hate to admit it. but my days in my line of work are numbered.

I have much respect and feelings of love towards any of my fellow men and women who know the pain and rewards of real hard damned work. Heck I get told by both of them I work harder but as a female I don't have their God given handsome strength but they have a hot shower,clean towels and a warm good meal nightly. We are almost Amish round this place doing all the work we do ourselves and work away from here. But it is beautiful. Like a small garden of Eden. So yay I luv ya ;)

Let me tell you where hard work got me.

Back in 1994, I got an entry level job with a corporation. I started working hard every day. Soon, I went to IT. Learned everything I could about it.

20 years later, I'm the head of IT and I don't even have a college education. I just applied myself. You have to spend time at a job anyway. If you actually work, your day goes by much faster.
