Naval missile test off California creates streaking light SAN DIEGO (AP) - The Navy fired an unarmed missile from a submarine off the coast of Southern California on Saturday, creating a bright light that streaked across the state and was visible as far away as Nevada and Arizona. A Navy spokesman told The San Diego Union-Tribune the Navy Strategic Systems Programs conducted the missile test at sea Saturday from the USS Kentucky, a ballistic missile submarine. The lack of information about the streak of light around sunset led to a flurry of calls to law enforcement agencies and lit up social media as people posted photos and video of the celestial sight. It wasn't clear whether the test was related to the rerouting of nighttime flights into and out of Los Angeles International Airport because of an active military airspace from Friday to Nov. 12. The test was conducted in the Pacific Test Range, a vast area northwest of Los Angeles where the Navy periodically test-fires Tomahawk and Standard cruise missiles from surface ships and submarines. Anonymous Coward User ID: 64127183 Mexico 11/08/2015 12:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It looks like the Russians did an ICBM launch from a submarine, right in the middle of U.S. war games off the California coast Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63927796 This was a huge event, which was seen in Mexico, California, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. This is the official story: Navy Strategic Systems Programs conducted the scheduled Trident II (D5) missile test flight at sea from the Kentucky, an Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, in the Pacific Test Range off the coast of Southern California, a Navy spokesman said. PROBLEM: Though there were war games scheduled, there was no missile launch scheduled (despite claims) AND HERE IS THE KICKER: According to the "experts" on various forums, Trident II missiles have a red flame, and Russian ICBM's have a stunning blue flame that leaves a huge blue trail long after the missile is gone. And this ICBM had a stunning blue flame that left a glowing trail in the sky for 15 minutes after the launch. AND HERE IS THE KICKER: ITS TRAJECTORY APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN ONE THAT WOULD HAVE MADE IT LAND IN SIBERIA. Figure the odds for that one. America would not test fire an ICBM on a trajectory for Russia! If Russia really did do this, it would have definitely sent a message that goes something like: "You can't get us, we can be right where you are looking and you will still lose LA." Now the only thing to be fully confirmed is that a Trident burns red. I do not know what does what, but there are experts out there reading that can confirm this. If the "experts" online are correct about the color of the flame, Russia just pulled a big one. Keep in mind that U.S. forces may be doing a huge whitewash right now, they are claiming it was ours, but I think that would be expected to keep Americans from panicking. If Russian ICBM's really do burn blue, and the Trident has a history of burning red, then the only way this thing was not Russian is if America changed the fuel chemistry, which in an established weapons system is a really fat chance! And come to think of it, this is how this would be done for max effect: One minute before America was supposed to test fire a Trident, Russia fires theirs in close proximity to where America's was supposed to launch from. What would this mean? It would mean: We can break your encryption, know what you were going to do, hide from you right where you are looking and do it on your own schedule! I would not be surprised if that is what really went on. That would be quite the chess board. Even if this missile really was American, the fact one got fired at all, at $31 million a pop for the type claimed, would send an ominous message. And what was the schedule for these war games? Not on the drawing board before that shoot down over Egypt. Make a thread about this, please! |

(I don't think so personally but I could be wrong on that.) BUT WHO LAUNCHED IT? FOR WHAT PURPOSE? Here's the point....The US government is saying that it launched this spectacular missile in the middle of the night over a densely populated area, with no warning in a manner so it could be seen by MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, many of them taking videos and pics. Now....do you REALLY believe that? I might believe that this was an ACCIDENT, (which is the cover story the govt SHOULD have gone with) in which case someone should be courtmartialed, but this was not a "normal" operation. THIS WAS MEANT TO BE SEEN. And when you combine this with the mystery "secret" operations at LAX that we all know about....what does it add up to? Was that a Russian or Chinese missile? Was it something else? I don't know. What I do know - based on common sense and vast prior experience is - OUR GOVERNMENT IS LYING TO US AGAIN. And I am SICK OF IT.
