So what was the subliminal programming supposed to do to us?

Only the programmer's records would reveal that. If you recall a prior post though, a person who actually watched the show as a kid remembers having extreme nightmares from it. We know that the 'hippy movement' was part of MK-Ultra as well. An entire generation of people were subverted and distracted away from what mattered. At one point, LSD was being handed out for free, they wanted people using it at that time because it was part of a larger operation of the most technical and destructive nature. It wasn't so much about physical destruction though as it was about intellectual destruction, and they were successful in that regard.

I think Krofft made a lot of these kids shows...hmmm??
So, if this show teach you anything, it should teach you how to respek everyone: animals, children, bitches, spazmos, mingers, lezzers, fatty boombahs, and even gaylords. So, to all you lot watching this, but mainly to the normal people, respek. West side.

This show used to give me nightmares as a little boy of 4 years old. A few months ago I watched it again and it still was freaking me out. Something is definitely psychotic with it.

Same here, it really disturbed me. I didn't watch many episodes, I'd switch over to UHF and watch something good in black & white. Maybe a creature feature, or some Laurel & Hardy.

Dave McGowan's website and book put together some missing pieces about that time, in my mind.

A man named Lieutenant colonel Michael Aquino is mentioned in this clip, concerning his involvement in the Phoenix program, his work on microwave weaponry, the mind war paper, and his specialties in psychological warfare. This same man created a church of Satan offshoot called "The temple of Set" and he was/is a top level Satanist who was good friends with Anton Lavey before he died, and brought Satanism into the US military as a significant force. He was supposedly kicked out of the military in 1990 for the child molestation debacle at the Presidio, but by that time, his damage was already done. He's not unique in his intent and evil though, there are many more just like him operating in the Government, but he likely had become a liability because he couldn't control himself and ended up leaving an evidence trail of criminality to the extreme, that could have implicated the entire Government. Just some extra information for those interested in this.

The nightmares were so vivid I remember them in detail to this day 47 years later.
