She's 79 years old and has a pacemaker. She's at a 7000' altitude and it hurts her to breathe. They are hoping to drive home this Monday. It is about a 16 hour drive with the trailer, but they will probably only drive 3 or 4 hours each day, or depending on her tolerance for the pain. I offered to fly up and bring her home on the plane and my brother was going to fly up and help drive the truck and trailer back. My Dad's 85 and he didn't want him to drive back alone. Anyway, they would have none of it and said they could make it back ok. I'm worried that this trip coming back is going to be terrible for her. I know GoofyforGod asked for prayer for my Mom and I so appreciate your prayers! I feel guilty though because I haven't participated in this thread like I should. I'm not good at voicing my prayers into written words. I feel shy at writing them down sometimes. I plan to start reading this thread and praying each day but if it's alright with you, I may just leave a smilie hug to let you know I'm praying. I love you all and I'm going to try my best to make this commitment going forward. I know we are in the last days and we all need to hold on to each other in prayer to our great and wonderful Savior, our blessed redeemer, our hope and salvation, Jesus Christ our Lord! love ya! ________________ “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:9 KJV |

My folks were camping in Wyoming and decided to go on a scenic ride on supposedly dead-broke horses. Anyway, there were about 8 trail riders and all the horses started rearing and bolting down the trail. They think it might have been a bear that spooked them, they don't know for sure. My Mom was thrown and hit the ground pretty hard. She broke a couple of ribs and had huge bruises all over her body. She spent the night in the hospital and now she and my Dad are back in their 5th wheel. She's still in extreme pain and is taking powerful pain narcotics. They were afraid of internal bleeding but it looks like she will be ok from that. Quoting: MercyMe Anyway, if you get a chance to say a quick prayer for her, I sure would appreciate it!
