However she came home and started drinking and smoking, Ricky said he thinks she will have another stroke and next time they can keep her there. She hit him 2 days after coming home because he said she didn't need to smoke. I wish she would listen to the doctors and do what they told her to do, but she refuses to give up on her bad habits. I bought her an electronic cigarette and some liquids so far she only used it that one day. I guess all I can do is keep praying that she tries to quit doing the bad things before it's to late. I want to ask everyone that reads this to do something this weekend. Every 10 minutes a child dies in Yemen from hunger, this is just one place. Around the globe people are starving and not just people but all God's creatures. Today Psalm 82 was one of my readings; Quoting: Goofy for God 3Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. 4Deliver the poor and needy;Free them from the hand of the wicked. Most of us are powerless to do anything about this but we pray to a God that can rain manna from Heaven, Psalm 78:24 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven. So pray this weekend and give something up and as you do tell the Lord this is for the hungry. Walk away from and lift up that dessert or extra helping and cry out for the children, women, men and animals dying every 10 minutes for something to eat...Cry out Psalm 82 and call on Psalm 78. I don't want to see her sent back to another nursing home, but even Ricky can't handle her at this point. I still have a strange feeling they let her go, because they couldn't handle her, they threw away her cane down there because she hit a nurse with it. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70792506 My cat was experiencing unusual behavior. He was circling and very disoriented. Then he suddenly collapsed. I prayed to God and Jesus for healing and rushed him to the vet. It turns out my cat is diabetic and was going into a diabetic coma. His blood sugar was 20. If he hadnt gotten to the vet sooner the vet said he would have died. He is home now and feeling much better and will be going back to the vet first thing in the morning for a follow up. Thank you Father In Heaven and Jesus for this answered prayer. So glad to hear of your happy ending. I too have a diabetic cat and am constantly worried that I will also put him into a diabetic coma with too much insulin. You are very lucky. I have had my cat drop below 20 and showed no signs so I worry even more.Thank you for the helpful advice on blood sugar monitoring. Sorry to hear you kitty has diabetes too. No symptoms?! Thats scary. This is the second time we almost lost him. A few years ago he was poisoned by tainted store bought cat food. The vets prognosis was dire but they never the less put him on IVs at the hospital overnight. She called to let us know that he was not responding to treatment and would have to be put down (this was christmas eve). I said no way, keep him on the IVs. I was up all night Christmas eve praying for his recovery. About 2 AM a battery operated angel light suddenly came on. I thought thats odd. The next morning the vet called crying telling me my cat suddenly snapped out of it and his blood and vitals were normal. I asked her if by any chance this occured around 2AM and she replied "yes, as a matter of fact it did.How did you know?" A prayer answered by God and the best Christmas gift ever. What an amazingly beautiful story! I Want To Believe |
