Mother Update

She is still bleeding from the bowels. The big change is that 2 weeks ago when she was in the hospital, the blood was bright red. Now the blood is dark. This is a concern. A specialist is supposed to see her tonight or tomorrow.

My biggest concern right now is her soul. She is NOT saved. My brother said we should get her a priest, as she WAS Roman Catholic at one point, but has not been to any church for 40+ years. I brought up the subject with her this afternoon, and she blew up at me. She has no use for any cleric whatsoever, to sum up her rant.

So, she is bitter, hateful, spiteful, racist, and has treated people her whole life as beneath her, and she prefers to die this way. I have friends who are ministers of various denominations, and a couple of friends who are also priests. All of them would be happy to go talk to her, but she refuses.

All we can do is pray.
