Someone shared a video this week that was trying to explain the Bible away. I listened till I could no more. I have heard many times the Bible is a tool of the church to control or that was for the people back then. The most popular tool of satan is ,it was written by men.
These kinds of statements have long been used to cause doubt . If we truly believe in the providence of God then one of our first English versions, God allowed. He brought me up on it and in my darkest hour I can ask Him to give something in His word to help me and He does. I am in Isaiah , I try to read a chapter before I pray everyday.
My chapter today was 49 nothing came, so I continued to 50 nothing came , so I kept going and chapter 51 spoke peace in my life. I encourage everyone if this is not a routine you have, make it one . I spent my most of my life seeking comfort and guidance in the things of this world. While some things helped temporally , His help is unlike anything this world offers.
God gave us His word , He used men that wanted everyone to have access to it. I trust God had a hand in the men chosen and still feared these words , Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book, or James 3:1My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
