It Is Enough


With all the talk of war of late it is good to remember Who is really in charge. North Korea and others think they are in charge and threaten countries with what they think makes them powerful.

Reading the stories of the wars before The Cross is a great reminder Who is most powerful and in charge. Angels did and do many things for God as in 2 Samuel 24:16 (KJV)
16 And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.

Angels of God are messengers , warriors , guards they have many duties . We do not become Angels when we die , they are of a different creation of Gods. They are powerful and as my brother Mike told me once , very large. One of my favorite verses to remind me to always be kind is this , Hebrews 13:2Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
We know this about them ,Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

God will say 'It is enough,” again one day, but until then we take comfort in Who's army we are under, no matter what happens.
