WOW Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70711430 A significant perentage of people will have very bad reactions to these pills, including death if they take them. they arent harmless tablets, they can create permanent health problems. Japanese researchers carried out several studies prior to and after Fukushima that if someone takes 2000mg of pure ascorbic acid every two hours (literally every two hours, mean waking up in the middle of sleep) for the first two or three weeks, that the effects of a nuclear disaster will be minimal to that person. They compared that with iodine pills and found the prolonged high dose of ascorbic acid to be thousand time more effective in protection against radiation. do you trust 'japanese researchers' though? i don't perhaps if we all smile though..... It's life as we know it, but only just. [link to citizenperth.wordpress.com] sic ut vos es vos should exsisto , denego alius vicis facio vos change , exsisto youself , proprie |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 70388230 Canada 11/11/2015 06:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm a United States Postal service employee and I have been guaranteed 2 iodine capsules "in case of a nuclear incident". Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68268379 Guaranteed? Are they in your possession, or is this just a 'take our word for it' kind of thing? They're the government, and they're here to help... Guaranteed. I signed a form. Hoping I never need them. But still found it odd they took a half hour out my work day to talk iodine pills. I've looked more into what they have in mind and it's sort of frightening. It's not a world any of us would want to live in. This thread made me realize how much I do NOT want doom. I already knew that, but usually doomish stuff is worlds away from me. This kind of got me thinking. And after hearing that southern Ontario is smack dab in the middle of all this potential poison, it makes me want to move yesterday! |
