I find myself praying consistently that Christians would realize that the "return of Christ" is an allegory, that the Scriptures are allegorical and not literal, and that all they have to do is work from the "inside out" rather than the "outside in."
To think that one can "force" Yeshua/Jesus to return is just folly, and it is not spiritual thinking, but human thinking.

The trouble is, would you recognize him if he did show up?
Or would you just label him as some nut job for saying he is Jesus?
What do you expect him to do when he does show up? perform some magick trick for you all? so the little people of the world would know its him!
For instance if I said I was the Christ everybody on here or everybody that read this would just laugh and not think twice about it.
The only thing that he would come here for is to open the door for you and it would be up to you to walk thru it.

Wrong. That perspective has already been proven false by the literal and not figurative fulfillment of the ancient prophecy that the Jews would return to their homeland and build themselves a renewed and reborn Israel. That prophecy was written well before Jesus' day, and was fulfilled about 2500 years after it was written, on May 14, 1948 when the modern state of Israel declared independence.
Thus, while the scriptures ARE figurative and allegorical, they at the same time are ALSO literal. Jesus WILL return in the flesh, and the universal Resurrection of the Dead WILL literally occur. If the ancient Jewish prophets were correct about Israel coming back, then there is no reason to assume they will not also be correct in their other predictions.
