German police last week arrested a man who may be linked to the Paris terror attackers after finding assault weapons and explosives in his car, officials said.
Documents uncovered during the arrest indicate that the 51-year-old citizen of Montenegro was en route to Paris, according to a report on Bayerische Rundfunk. There are “reasonable grounds to believe” that the man may belong to the group of attackers, Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer said in an interview broadcast by the public radio channel. German authorities are investigating possible links to the Paris attacks, according to a statement on Saturday by the Bavarian criminals investigations office.
