Can believe this shit, cos back in the day, in the 70s & 80s the Brits used dirty campaigns in Norther Ireland, FF attacks! were very common in Ireland. I remember the 1974 carnage in Dublin, with no warning car bombs just off O Connel street, with bombs off Parnell Square, Moore Street & think it was Dunnes Stores at the time. That wasn't fake! I was in that place every Friday afternoon, but that particular Easter I was taking my first holy communion in Co.Meath, so missed it. We went the next day on the Saturday, it honestly..! the place around Moore Street was a fucking disaster area, with every single building broken, Dunnes car park.. destroyed. How many innocent victims died that day in Dublin & the pub bombing in Cavan? NO WARNING GIVEN!!! In Co. Meath the Guards evacuated the pub lounge we were eating in as a precaution, then the Cavan bomb went off. The prods claimed responsibiily, but the IRA always claimed it was really The Brits who carried it out, even tho' the Portadown UDF said they carried out the bombing. Fucking Brits..!!! with their American & Jewish mates.. up to dirty tricks again! Fuck em!

That the intelligence agencies learn of an impending attack, and schedule a drill for the same day.

Look at it this way.
Say they learn of a bomb plot on a certain day at a certain event(Boston Marathon for example). They won't warn the public because they don't want a panic, they don't want to look weak in the public eye (shutting down events from fear of terrorism suggests that terrorism is a successful endeavor) and they don't want to be confronted by the fact that there is a certain level of impotence in knowing about a threat but not being capable of arresting those plotting the attack.

So they keep quiet and wait for the day to come.
Only they schedule a bomb-threat simulation drill for the same day. This way they can place a police presence and high security without drawing questions from the populace. If they get lucky and thwart the attack, they would never admit there was a threat. It would all be on the official record as a drill, the locating and defusal of the bomb. The arrest of the suspects, the corresponding security lockdown. All part of 'the drill' and the public never knows how close their law enforcement came to letting it happen.

What we see as the drill going 'live' is actually law enforcement simply being unable to stop the attack in time and then keeping any mention of the 'drill' out of the media.


TLDR Version:
The 'drill' is simply cover for a last-ditch attempt to thwart an attack they can't admit they knew about.
