Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 69584175 United States 11/16/2015 08:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I need a little more interactive exchange. In particular, I wish to know their true nature and relationship with humans. A lot of scientific exploration of this question has taken place, but mostly from either the spiritual/save-the-earth/tree-hugging perspective, or breaking down things to their constituent component ala western medicine. I wish to have an exchange on a peer basis so that I may better understand and align my intentions with their true and complete nature. It isn't a silly question, but it is a nascent one |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 44993350 United States 11/16/2015 08:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think the best you can ask for is: talking to plants - not only will they use your expressed carbon dioxide, I do believe they have some level of spiritual "awareness" (in a way) so maybe they won't "understand" the words, they can understand the intent behind them....... play music for plants - classical music is supposedly the best |

ALL plants are different so you first need to know what type likes what environment. plants are living in slow motion compared to us so you must give them 10x more time for a reaction! plants need us at times but we need plants much more! plants communicate to each other to survive! plants are 50x more evolved than us!! we only are able to live because the plants allows us to! the more energy you put into a plants growth the more you get out! just being around plants can help us.. peace from uk |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 70823494 United States 11/16/2015 08:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Read the Secret Life of Plants by Baxter. And watch a video by Mythbusters who tried to debunk him. They ironically found out, what Baxter discovered is true, that plants can communicate. 2 forms of communication: 1) Using electrodes to plants get a reading. 2) To really talk to them, first google "animal communicator leopard." This method can be used with plants, but will take possibly years of discipline and training. |

The time scale is very relevant. I watched a documentary on Netflix on plants, and watching the root systems moving through soil looked remarkably like it was stopping and sniffing...perhaps "smelling" for nutrients it was seeking. Thus, understanding the differential of how each deals with time is a great insight. The symbiosis between plant uptake of CO2 and human of o2 leads me to the conclusion we are as co-bonded as dogs and humans. I think there is much plants can do for humans beyond the current relationship, but I have to figure out a reciprocity to offer the plants in exchange for their increased efforts. Another netflix doc on marijuana suggests the plant developed its psychoactive properties so that humans would attach a "value" to the weed, and thus transport its seed far and wide...which is exactly how it played out. Im also fascinated that humans have specific neural receptors for THC....what's up with that? |

You remind me of the US Patent Office in 1918 which suggested there was nothing left to invent, so the office would be closed. I truly hope your stupidity is a temporary condition. Hard to have a strong and vibrant society populated with single celled organisms able to only respond to the most basic stimuli |

There is another book SECRETS OF THE SOIL, also excellent and worth reading. Thank you! |

Im also fascinated that humans have specific neural receptors for THC....what's up with that? AHH now were talking! THC is created in mothers milk so we actually produce THC but cannabis produces much more! cannabis was once used as food! raw cannabis does not give ANY buzz affects its when its heated at 222 degrees c befor that THC is actually THCA as well as CBD is actually CBDA the "A" means Acid when this Acid is removed the cannabis becomes a drug! we have nearly always have known cannabis as a drug and many believe its a medicine but actually its the healthiest vegetable we can consume!!! if we consumed it as a food we would not have the problems that we would then need to treat! peace. |

Yeah, and I think with people as well. Some people are particularly sensitive to the smells and sights of plants...not to mention the fruit being a staple |
