I wonder if it wasn't some warning to some high-ups, him being a Yankee and all, which is synonymous for american.

Very weird. This man is symbolic...he just changed teams...became a Yankee.

Maybe it WAS him being used as a warning to somebody else. That if they don't do what they're supposed to be doing it will be them next.

CNN reported a baseball player named Munson also had a plane at the same airport Cory Lidle had his, and Munson also died in small aircraft crash. Who who Munson?? Anyone know and Details about his crash??

This is unofficial, but straight from a relative who lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan: the word is that it was a helicopter that crashed into the apartment building. There is a large hospital nearby called “New York Presbyterian” that has a helopad on top.

The helicopter was apparently heading for landing on the helopad on top of the hospital. The apartment building into which the helicopter crashed is located at E. 72nd and York Avenues. The hospital with the helopad on top is at 69th. That’s the word from the streets of New York City. I cannot verify it, I’m just passing it along.

Update: As normally happens in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy, stories change rapidly. Now it’s looking like it was a small twin-engine plane. Possibilities: remote-controlled Mossad/CIA drone; a guy committing suicide; a random accident. But as someone commented on this blog, the salient point is: WHY HASN’T THE BUILDING COLLAPSED YET?

My boss is going through training to get his pilot license. He says it's standard to have a few forms of ID on you when flying. FCC regulation or some such.

How come his HEAD wasn't found on the street?

this is freaking me out! i dreamt this last week! i should have posted it. In the dream i was driving with a child passenger and i saw tthis plane losing its control. It was a cesna size plane. I told the child i think that plane is going to crash. Well sure enuf as we kept on driving, i saw the same plane and it was flapping its wings to try to gain altitude cause it was going down. Thats when i told the child, that i was right! the plane was crashing. The plane went down into some building not far from me. The weird part when it went down, it exploded into VAPORS!

Now here is whats trippin me... the name of the building this plane crazhed into is called "BEL AIR" building! Like wtf!! as in "bael - prince of the air!". This is crazy freaky!

By the way... Thurman Munson was the Yankees all time greatest catcher. He died at 32 years of age in 1979 in a plane crash. He was at the controls and had been flying for about 18 months prior. Similar to Lidle, he bought the plane because he thought it would be easier for him to get back to see his family while on the road. He initially survived the crash, which two others survived. They believe he died from the fire that ensued.

There's no conspiracy here... maybe just bad karma for the Yankees.
