At this point, it would suprise me more if there was no attack in Chicago. Going into the holiday season, it's an easy target for terrorists. There will be thousands of people at hundreds of locations. I wouldn't recommend shopping, going to a concert or sporting event in Chicago for the foreseeable future. Especially between now and New Years.

Maybe they realize Chicago is a lost cause and are hoping a terrorist will turn it to rubble. Then they can have a fresh start and rebuild using federal money and donations from sympathetic people around the world.
