On Paula Zahn just now, can anyone get a transcript? Two women eyewitnesses claim they saw no wings on plane before it hit. To me it shows the unreliablity of some witnesses in extreme circumstances, or the woo woos will say a " missile " hit the building!

I agree it is BS, but the witnesses did say it, I believe they are mistaken

why can't someone disagree with Mathetes, as often as he does with others?
I disagree with YOU. He isn't just bringing the news, he's attempting to make fools of two EYEWITNESSES(which may or may not be wrong in what they saw), and debunk their eyewitness testimony without the benefit of actually seeing what they saw.
I'd call that very, uh, un-scientific, as well as anti-Christian of Mathetes.
Without any personal experience in this case, he is bearing false witness, or attempting to spread falsehoods, without KNOWING what happened.
Me? I'm impartial about it, except for the part about finding the guys passport. Sounds fishy to me.
I just don't like Mathetes style and approach on much.

although i do understand that you are trying to show that people can be mistaken about what they see when they're under stress...i do feel there would be a better way to go about it than trashing witness to a bad day for many.

So if a witness(the other people) backs the gov.corp version of a event they are believable, but they are horrible processors of info(some people) if they do not.

A couple was on the roof across the street and they said they saw some men in black suits pushing small airplane wreckage off the roof right after the "missle" hit! |

Eye witness testimony is notoriously bad for details. Take 100 witnesses and you can determine pretty accurately that something hit the building, that it was airborn and that it was light in color, after that, your gonna have to go with consensus because it'll start flaring out in the details. You'll have 20 helicopters, 20 planes without wings, 20 big planes, 20 small planes, etc. It's pretty much a known aspect of investigation, no matter who tells it to you, it's still true.

Regarding eyewitnesses:
1) Check out Rashomon.
2) People who have no interest in aviation or have little exposure to aircraft do not know how to relate or process the information that they have seen and heard. |
