There is a lot of truth in this post. My pastor does not even want to preach on bible prophecy regarding the end, because he is afraid it will cause fear.
When it is mentioned in church, it is usually to say that Prophets like Kim Clement are saying that we are not yet the end times so you see everything is okay.

I agree with Matthew 24. No one knows the day or the hour. So until that time I will stay aware and prepare.

There are many false teachers and people feel comfortable if they have extra time , thinking something has to be built that is not built , or we have to be as bad as the people in days of Noah , not true and God has made very clear to us and there are many scripture telling us over and over and by Jesus himself , NO ONE KNOWS EXCEPT GOD

People are confused and that is why the church needs to address it more.

Instead we have two groups. The are end time preachers and preachers that are saying we are not there yet but this is a time of prosperity for the church. Neither group really likes the other.

I listen to both with an open mind, but keep my spiritual antenna up. Personally, I feel we are close, but God's timing and my timing are two different things. He can move it up or move it back. However, we should stay prepared, informed, being watchers and in wait always.

So, 3.5 days after the two witnesses are killed by the antichrist and the whole world sees their dead bodies lying in the street, they arise from the dead and ascend to meet Jesus...I think I'll have a pretty good idea when He's returning. Maybe not knowing the 'day or the hour' has something to do with the 'three days of darkness' messing up our calendars and timepieces? Or, the Antichrist comes to change 'times and law'...

Common Sense 1:1 says " Bunch of religious fanatics wrote the bible". Bunch of men that slaughtered defenseless poor animals for some nonexistent substance they call sin.

Man has been on earth for millions of years, not 7000 years like the bible begats. For 200,000 years mans body has gone little unchanged.

We are indeed living in the last generation. The great increase in technology and communications since the advent of the nuclear age in the 1940's has promoted the preaching of the gospel into all the world in this one generation unlike any other generation. The Gospel of Jesus Christ can now enter every home and every life through the invention of the internet!

No one can know the day or the hour because of two important Scriptures:

Matthew 24:21-22 "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened."

Romans 9:28 "For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth.”

The LORD is going to "shorten the days" and "cut the work short" because of the great weapons that have been invented. These weapons if unleashed in a horrific third world war between the super powers would result in the killing of billions of people as biological weapons would also be used along with nuclear weapons and EMP.

That is why we who believe MUST be ready...for any day God could decide to cut short the work and shorten the days. NO ONE knows when God will do this. That is why He said we MUST "watch and pray" and "watch and be ready" for you know not the hour of His return.

consider... Jesus was speaking of the time when the earth and heavens will be remade after the millennium rule of Jesus..
if this was about the rapture of the saints then there would be no need to watch for signs at all because logically no one would know how soon!

Jesus in the same passages also states quite clearly... 'See i have told you ahead of time'... regarding the things of the end.. Second... he tells us when the final trib begins at the sight of the 'abomination of desolation' and shortly after saying this he tells us clearly what exactly we must watch for and WHEN you see ALL these things... THEN the heavens will open like a scroll, the trump sounds the voice of the Archangel AND then you see the Son of man coming on the clouds.

I fear for those who are waiting for a sudden unexpected rapture as this is being shown day after day how false it is.. because according to this theory all christians should taken already.. why?

The bible is telling of celestial events that cause the earth to go thru radical changes (earth quakes, tsunami's, a pole shift & most likely meteors) This happens when our twin star a brown dwarf re-enters and sling shots around our own sun.
