Married people have sex? I had no idea.

i think they have sex at least once every year or two...

LOL.. I'm only eighteen, so maybe I'm new-school when it comes to this topic as I've been baffled before at the ethics of some marriages I've read here on this site but man.. If my wife was only keen on ONCE a fuckin' year I'd need to do some serious re-evaluating on what kind of man I've become.

38 married 12 years. About 2-3 a week. Actually it's getting to be more satisfying and more relaxed these past couple of years.

You're young. You'll get used to it. We all do.
Once you have children and especially as you push past 40 and especially if you are having marital problems, these things happen.
You have to decide whether the quality time you get with your spouse is good enough to counteract for not being able to have sex very often. You know after 24 years, and of course, I am unable to get arousal anymore or orgasm, you just start to deal with it.

I have to force myself to have sex because I literally don't want to do it. I get no pleasure from it anymore. I was put through too much stress and my sex drive was the first thing to go. Major marital problems and issues surrounding our financial situation. These things affect a woman's ability to respond sexually.

You better be sure that you are able to care for the woman that you choose and also that you aren't going to further break her mind like my husband has. You know, if she's yelling and screaming a lot-especially if she goes to the bedroom and yells and screams and cusses when she's talking to God about you, that's a really good indicator that your sex life is about to have a down turn.

But, we don't just throw people away because they are broken, young one. We love them anyway. I still have sex with my husband even though this happened to me...twice in 24 years.

At 18, you see, there's a freight train or 12 barrelling down the tracks coming your way. It's going to hit you no matter what you do to try to avoid it. None of us can avoid these freight trains. They are miserable. You just can't imagine how unhappy it is possible to be at 18, but eventually you will know it with your whole mind, body and soul. When those freight trains hit you, you are decimated. It just keeps happening the older you get. This is how you gain wisdom. You will earn every gray hair on your head.

But, don't worry. After you have been hit by the freight trains enough times, sex sort of goes on the back burner. You will know real fear then and you will understand that a few seconds of orgasm is not enough to make up for what is happening to you. That is momentary fleeting pleasure and often, we do it when we shouldn't be doing it. You will understand some day.

Don't drive your wife insane. That will help the situation. Just saying.

Late 40's couple married for 18 years and have sex on a daily basis.

Three or four times a week. Occasionally a little more frequently. I'm 39, hubby is 43 & we have been married for just under 6 years. We would probably have sex a little more often however, he works nights so our schedules don't always coincide.
