Night Sky is too bright
Totally clear night in Colorado Springs. Moon is overhead and only about half full. The entire sky though has a back light to it. It has a glow. Instead of being black and dark with stars shinning its more of a dark blue. The Moon also is bright as can be.

I'm not imagining things. I got a telescope back in the 80s when I was in 6th grade. At that time I pointed it at the Moon. The moon used to be yellowish colored and more dim. Now it shines light a light bulb. Something the hell is going on and its becoming more noticeable daily. The night sky should be darker then this!

I've seen something called a hunters moon. That's what the light outside is like tonight but its not a full moon etc. Something is lighting up the sky more.

Can anyone else corroborate this?

Anyone else with a clear sky tonight, no clouds to bounce light around etc. Look at the color of the night sky. Its like a dark blue instead of pitch black.

Maybe cause the sun is brighter and white not yellow like it used to be and is lighting up the moon more?

This video will answer your question. Watch all 9 minutes.

Not saying it's true, just more speculation.

I have to say man I gave up on the planet x stuff back in 2005 when Nancy Lied.

That being said the night sky definitely looks different. Speculation could say there is another source of light our there adding more light at day and night? Man I wish we could get a real answer. The chatter lately has definitely increased on Niburu again.

Same here in UK, I've noticed this for a while now. The moon certainly is brighter recently.

Also I've noticed that stars closer to the horizon twinkle more than they used to. A few months ago I swear I could see stars rapidly flashing through colours - I think I saw someone on here post about that.

The sun is getting dimmer. It's at half its solar maximum. The sun is electrical & hollow, doesn't burn anything! It receives RF energy from the universe in its outer rim, converts it, where it goes to the centre & back again amplified. It then hits a resistance inductance sending high energy out. No actual heat or light comes from the sun, it doesn't travel across space like that. Light & heat only manifest when it hits something dense, starting with a gas. The gas converts it again. Been watching hours of video on this subject.

So what is the possible explanation here? The moon is definitely lit from the bottom lately and seriously bright, the night sky is no longer pitch black? I dismissed the whole PX thing man but a second source of light does seem to be a possible explanation? Got any others?

Same here in Michigan. Last night we had cloud cover. I let my dogs out around 11 p.m. and clearly noticed to the west through the clouds a bright light yellow-orange cast in the horizon. Never seen anything like it. Tonight it is clear with the moon overhead and bright to the west away from the moon like last night. Something isn't right. Definitely NOT city lights either!

Usually when there is no sources of light in the sky like a full moon, ie half moon, quarter moon, the night sky has a definite blackness to it. Not tonight though or the other night. At some point its going to go back to normal or else be undeniable.

My vies west is blocked by the rocky mountains. But I can definitely tell the night sky is lighter out. Have we got any west coasters that can post some pics or something?

I mean things like this just dont happen willy nilly. I grew up where the moon and sun were yellowish colored and you didn't need shades to drive in the sun, the sky was black at night and the stars were far away pinpricks. Now the sun is a white hot blob you can't even look towards without shades, the moon is like a second sun at night and night is getting lighter out.....

The moon gives off more light now like at the end of the movie 2010 when Jupiter ignites and becomes a second sun. That last shot in the movie of the Jupiter new sun in the sky is how bright our moon is now. Man in the 80s the moon was like yellowish and definitely didn't shine like it does now.

Yes exactly its like a harvest moon or a hunters moon giving all that bluish light, but its not a full moon or super moon or any of that garbage.

Yep. Noticed it here in Kentucky as well. Even last week when the moon was but a tiny sliver, there was a bright "full moon" glow. I've noticed this for about a week and a half now.

Further observations. I can look out down the street from my kitchen window. I can see the color of the sidewalk as white, I can clearly make out more of the outline of the street and the color difference in the sidewalk. The night sky is not black its dark blue. It is not dark where you can't even see your shadow. I can see clearly down the street much further etc. Anyone else?

Maybe it is a 2nd sun we're seeing?! All I know is, it's bizarre to see the dark of night with a glow and no moon...

Perfect clear night here in the Austin area. I was out making shadow puppets noting that the moon is as bright as it normally is when its full but it's only a little more than a half moon.

Came in, checked GLP and saw your thread.

Check out this sky cam in Sacramento -- Cameron Park.
Not only does the moon have a halo, look how bright it is that it lights up
the entire sky! It also has a blue middle to it.

I believe there is a secondary light source intensifying the light
of the moon and the skies -- a second sun ...

Unfortunately, I did not take one last night. But, when I awoke this morning around 7:15 and opened the drapes to let the dogs out ten minutes later, the colored glow of the western horizon is still there at 7:27 am. Couldn't believe it! I do not know how to get the pic uploaded or even prove I am looking to the west. It looks like the eastern sunrise, it is not!

I also saw rays of light, like sun rays but in the night sky coming from the east.
