You are all part of the DNA sample set of what is believed to be the important DNA by the governments at the time. You were retrieved with most of those here in someplace called the DNA seed bank. You were all buried under about a mile of snow, took a while to dig it up. There were around 90 million sample sets in there and another 80 million in a place called the west bank. The Oxford collection (code name: sleepy hollow, does that sound right?) is still being dug up along with the massive burial ground of 280 million people in a place called Montana and Ohio.

If wondering you are all in run times at the moment on route to the loci. DNA/RNA is really just a program, runs just like one as well. You've be surprised what is imprinted on it. Also found a large container stamped with a word 'Baal' on the side of it. Everyone has been using it. Turns out it was called Google and it had a bunch of information. It's been very handy at getting you all working to figure out what happened. The facebook thing and the AI's left in there are amazing. Can hardly tell the differences sometimes talking online.

The original request was to find a VIP that was visiting on earth at the time and was killed when the shit hit the fan. It is the client's hope that we find the DNA sample to rebuild the missing person. The rest of it, the PM's, art, whatever, are considered the spoils of salvage and a couple of bounties as well. Earth had a lot of dirtbags hiding out on it, it's been a good haul so far.

Otherwise in 2 years, 8 months and 20 days you will all go through the loci. My engagement ends a little before then since I don't really see the need to join any of you. The other salvage teams are combing over other sites in the meanwhile.

If you lived in blissful settings and pastoral lives, I suppose it would have been that but given the information left on the Baal container with what could be scraped together. This is all that can be done. Since not a single one of you that was found and turned back on has a memory of an afterlife. You know...take it or leave it.

I dunno , that doesn't sound right to me. Or, rather it doesn't make sense - it did, but this whole thing about being a reconstituted memory doesn't seem to hold water. I am willing to buy that the universe is heading towards an immenint singularity, and that the government had an experiment where the memories and experiences of certain genetically valuable individuals were held in stasis...but the idea that this is the afterlife? That sounds shaky at the very best. I think you're making that up.

Or let me put it this way - I have a good instinct for sniffing out logically coherent theories. My instincts generally bear fruit when I investigate them more closely. To argue my life experience is merely an afterlife, there should be no distinction between anybody's experience in life from the afterlife. By your logic, anybody alive is dead. In that case the distinction between life and death no longer has any meaning .

I've considered this is all the afterlife. I have also considered we are all in Hell. But Hell isn't as bad as made out to be.

I've also considered we are in a looping simulation and that is why deja vu and precognitive ability, occurs. I just saw an article the other day regarding uploading peoples consciousness after death into a cyborg body based on their online profiles... No shit.

I'll leave you with something though. How likely is it that a country as large as Canada hasn't had a single earth quake or any type of emergency in the historical records on RSOE? That a first world country with 32 million people hasn't had a single alert for years...not one.

I don't take meds, not particularly interested in starting. Why do you ask?
I've spoken to numerous psychiatrists when I want them to write me a prescription for something specific. None of them were ever capable of discovering that I'm actually crazy, therefore I must be relatively sane.

Enjoy this "afterlife" as you need to. It's all that's available on file. I suggest instead of wasting time in here maybe getting out to see the world while all the systems are turned on and running. Take a class or two. Go chase a boy you like. It's the little things that make it fun.

Even with the bunch of you as a Sloane foundation knock offs that were messed with in Dreamland, you still lived a little bit. The only provided benefit that we could setup on this side of the system is to make sure the last of the time was uneventful and you had the opportunities to enjoy the remaining time online without any harassment. The world is literally your oyster and I promise that no one will notify when the switch gets flipped out of a small kindness.

'Live' each day as if it was your last. Each eat sandwich as if it were your last. Savour it. Apologies in advance, but it's the best that can be done considering. Not many get a second swing, make it count.
