Satellite photos of UFO crash site
On May 20, 1953, some kind of unidentified aerial craft allegedly crashed in a desert site near Kingman, Arizona. Just twenty-two days later on June 11, 1953, and 200 miles straight north on a dry lake bed east of the Fishlake National Forest an agency of the U. S. government took two dozen photographs of this large triangular feature in the dry lake bed. The triangle measured approximately 4,400 feet long and 2,700 feet wide. The nearest small town to the lakebed is Garrison, Utah. Three miles away is the U.S. Forest Services Desert Research Experimental Station known as DRES (no longer an active research station).
It is believed that within this large triangular earthen feature is buried a UFO:
[link to terraserverusa.com]
Notice what looks like a drill sample test hole with tailings (tailings pile approx. 100 yards wide). There is possible survey work (CLEARLY artificial, straight-edged triangle formation) in the center of the supposed impact zone. Also notice the splatter pattern caused by the crash in the ground along the top edge of the triangle.
The crash site is 282 KM SW of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Latitude & Longitude coordinates of the triangle feature: 113W 40'29.83" by 38N 37'.

Many serious UFO investigators believe a UFO that was too large to remove is buried beneath this triangular patch, the area being given this shape by the UFO crash recovery team in order to hide as much as possible signs of the heavy impact made by the UFO. However, the area still looks significantly different to its surrounds in satellite photos and the presence of manmade marks in such an isolated area is a challenge for the UFO sceptic to explain.
Here is a 1997 TerraServer photo of the area taken from 30,000 ft: [link to terraserver-usa.com]
The site still shows remarkable detail even after 44 years of weather and erosion. Seen at low zoom, there are very suggestive signs, indicative of impact by a heavy object, of changes in the ground in the area leading up to the man-made triangle. Notice all the bright flecks indicative of sandy areas of different chemical composition that reflect different shades of light. These features of areas where the top levels of sand were stripped away by the violent impact of the UFO are absent from the surrounding region, which has more uniformity in its surface color.

We do not have to rely on just aerial photographs. Details about the dead aliens allegedly retrieved from the site given in a signed affadavit by someone claiming to have been part of the recovery team can be found at: [link to ufos.about.com]

Pretty much falls apart when you use [link to maps.google.com]

with coordinates of:

38.63172 -113.67448

Zoom in and you'll see there's nothing special going on. That's what you get when you use a crappy aerial photograph.

Nothing going on? You have got to be kidding! It STILL looks anomalous - even 53 years later. Nice try. But your dismissal doesn't pull any force. The origianl pics are just as good as these more recent ones Any way, you either ignore or are ignorant of the considerable circumstantial evidence provided by eyewitnesses over the years. Before offering knee-jerk reactions, do some research.

And don't give me the argument that photos are more reliable when they are more recent. The opposite is true here. Over time, anomalous feature are eroded by wind and rain. Hence the older photos, which CLEARLY do reveal man-made straight lines forming triangles, and survey post holes, are more reliable for deciding whether this area really was turned over by the military. Your logic is back-to-front, I am afraid.

If you think something's there, why don't you truck your silly ass out there with a metal detector.

Here's a map. If you're so convinced take a trip.

Ah. I see you have given up the argument by resorting to name-calling. If you were versed in the subject, you would know that there has been A GREAT DEAL OF FIELD INVESTIGATION in the last couple of years. In fact, one of the world's most experienced investigators into UFOs, an Emmy-award winner, has reported to an international conference the results of her investigations.

Are there any pictures from before 1954?

To be honest this just looks like a dried up lake bed you can see the small channels that run off it!

What were the results of the tests you say were carried out?

It's the photos taken in 1953 and 1997, not current ones, that clearly show that the ground has been dug over into the rough shape of a triangle. No, there were no satellite photos in 1953. The ones take by the US government were from a high-flying plane. Of course, after all these years, much of the human-made features would have become too blurred to convince some people who have not seen the earlier ones. So you need to examine the earlier photos of 1953 and 1997, not the current satellite photos.

Among many other out-of-place features found by this investigator were a heavily padlocked door set into the side of a mound that stretched over the site.

Re: Satellite photos of UFO crash site
To the naysayers, this started due to people reporting an incident of a flash followed by the earth shaking for 15 minutes, Several witnesses have been interviewed and reported unusual military happenings in late spring 1953, rather a while before youtube etc. The whole point is that something has been covered up by earth movers and military with shovels. The site is 4400ft by 2700ft and has been investigated several times thoroughly by Linda Moulton Howe who runs earthfiles.com and has written many books on UFO related phenomena. If you are into serious investigations please check out her video at a conference. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Some people actually take the time to back up what they have seen with facts rather than spouting weather balloon stories and comments out of context.
It wouldn't be the strangest thing that has happened!
